Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Legal Assistance:
- Assist in ensuring that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including statutory filings and reporting to regulatory authorities (e.g., Registrar of Companies).
- Support in drafting and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and other corporate records.

Corporate Governance:
- Help in organizing board meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Ensure the timely filing of board resolutions, meeting minutes, and other key documentation.
- Assist in maintaining corporate records such as registers of members, directors, and other statutory books.

Regulatory Filings & Documentation:
- Ensure timely filing of necessary documents with authorities (such as annual returns, financial statements, etc.).
- Monitor and update the company’s compliance with corporate laws, including the Companies Act (or relevant local legislation).

Corporate Communications:
- Assist with communication between management, board members, and shareholders.
- Draft correspondence and ensure timely distribution of relevant documents to stakeholders.

Advisory & Reporting:
- Provide assistance in advising on corporate governance matters, including ensuring the company adheres to best practices.
- Prepare reports for the board and senior management regarding legal, financial, or governance matters.

Company Secretarial Software/Systems:
- Use company secretarial software to maintain and update corporate records, ensuring they are accurate and accessible.

Other Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Company Secretary and management as needed, including organizing events, meetings, and legal paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Completed or in the process of completing Company Secretary qualification (e.g., ICSI in India).
- Knowledge of corporate governance and legal compliance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
